What we offer & How we do it

We are trained chefs, and run a classic public house with terrific, freshly prepared food.

Food ingredients are always sourced locally whenever possible, Our Lambs & Pigs come into us whole from small holdings in Weston Underwood & our Free Range Chicken, Duck & Guinea Fowl come from Pastures Farm inbetween Olney & Yardley Hastings. Our Bread is baked twice weekly for us by Gareth at Amazing Grains in Emberton using traditional slow rise techniques. We also encourage the use of free range & organic ingredients where it is possible to do so.

A regularly changed wine menu reflecting current trends and hopefully starting a few! At Least 3  Real Ales are always on the levers, Eagle IPA, Courage Directors and an ever changing Guest Ale.

We train our team so they can deliver the type of service that you would expect, with confidence and a touch of flair.

From you guys? Well that’s simple sit back relax and enjoy your time with us, whether it be for drinks in our courtyards, a 3 course meal in our restaurant, or a function upstairs.
